I had a pretty disappointing stay. The room was quite outdated and not very well-equipped, and I found the service lacking. The only good point was the helpfulness of the staff during check-in. Overall, it was not what I expected from a resort, and I wouldn't return.

Rooms
5.0
The room felt run down and the kitchen had inadequate cookware, making it hard to cook anything properly.
Service
5.0
While the young front desk staff was polite, their lack of knowledge made my stay more difficult.
Location

The hotel’s tucked away location was quieter, but being next to a loud pub wasn’t ideal for enjoying the balcony.

The pool wasn't available, and the jacuzzi was dirty, which was really disappointing.

The Whistler Resort and Club offers an incredibly affordable stay at $150 CAD, especially for a place so close to skiing and other amenities. While the price is right, the decor and furnishings feel outdated and could use some serious upgrades. The staff is helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed, but the condition of the facilities leaves something to be desired.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms include basic furnishings, but mine felt a bit dingy and definitely in need of a refresh. The mattress was old, and the decor was quite dated.
Service

I found the staff to be very helpful, offering tips and even providing us with a kettle for our room. They were friendly and made us feel welcome.
Location

The location is excellent, just a short stroll to the Creekside lift and nearby services like grocery stores and restaurants. It’s very convenient for skiers.
Dining

Dining options nearby were great, with the Southside Diner just a short walk away, offering hearty meals at reasonable prices.
Facilities
6.0
While the hot tub and sauna were pleasant, they are quite basic and could use refurbishment. The overall facilities felt outdated.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, it has a great value for the price, and the location is quite convenient for skiing and shopping. On the other hand, the decor and furnishings were quite dated, and the noise from the nearby pub was distracting. Overall, a decent choice for budget-conscious travelers who aren't looking for luxury.

7.8/10

The hotel was an unexpected surprise with its cozy atmosphere and spacious suite, perfect for larger groups. While the decor felt a bit dated and the lighting could use an upgrade, the kitchen was well-equipped and the location was fantastic for accessing the Creekside gondola. I appreciated the free parking, but the Wi-Fi connection was frustratingly slow at times.

While I didn't eat at the hotel, the nearby Southside Diner had amazing breakfast options that really hit the spot.

The indoor jacuzzi was a nice feature and actually kept hot, plus there was a sauna available, although I would have liked more upkeep on them.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. While the location was perfect for accessing the Creekside gondola and the rooms were spacious, the overall maintenance left much to be desired. The decor felt dated, and the lighting in the room was a bit dim, making it hard to fully appreciate the space. However, the well-equipped kitchen and free parking made my stay much more enjoyable. It wasn't the luxury experience I hoped for, but it served its purpose at a reasonable price.

Rooms

Service

No notable service issues, but it didn't stand out either.
Location

The location is an absolute gem; just a short walk to the Creekside gondola and close to shops and eateries.
